Condensation cure

  • Condensation cure silicone is a type of silicone rubber that cures (solidifies) through a condensation reaction, often using a catalyst. 

  • It’s generally more affordable than addition cure silicone,but may have a shorter shelf life and can produce byproducts during curing.

  • It’s commonly used for mold making, casting, and various industrial applications.
